Welcome to Greenacre CBT

As you know your mental health has a direct impact on your wellbeing. When your mental health is under threat, the effect on your health and wellbeing can be hugely detrimental.

At Greenacre CBT, professional therapist Joy Scholes provides that help. She uses proven therapy services of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Mindfulness to help people overcome a range of mental health conditions including:

  • Depression and low mood
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Social Anxiety
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Panic attacks
  • Sleep problems
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Post-traumatic stress
  • Acute stress
  • Bullying at work
  • Bereavement
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Work based issues
  • Couples therapy using CBT

Mental health problems left untreated can change normal behaviours, and in some cases, affect your personality i.e. someone who is normally confident and socially outgoing may start to withdraw from social engagements or might find work feels very overwhelming and stressful.

However, with the correct help, it doesn't have to be that way, you will be able to take back control, feel empowered, push forwards and do so with confidence.

Regain control of your life.

Providing Support

During the Covid crisis we are providing one to one support via Zoom, Skype or Facetime. This has proved to be highly effective in providing CBT and is endorsed by all the major medical insurers and BABCP. If anyone wants one to one in person, there are limited appointments, and this is after discussion of the risk issues.
