I am an accredited CBT psychotherapist and I have been practising Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for over 12 years in the NHS and as a private therapist.
I founded Greenacre CBT to provide CBT to individuals struggling with aspects of their life and needing help to restore balance and make improvements to their mental health and wellbeing.
I worked with local GPs in Bedfordshire and in the NHS Wellbeing Programme (IAPT) providing CBT in the NHS, before taking early retirement. I now focus on my private work and clinical supervision of CBT therapists and those using CBT skills in their professions.
I am also a clinical supervisor on the P/G Diploma in CBT at the University of Hertfordshire, helping the next generation of therapists to deliver CBT.
My approach is based on trust and understanding. CBT is a holistic and practical approach and will support you in understanding your thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
I will work with you on setting realistic and measurable goals, helping you develop a resilient and positive mindset towards life challenges.
All my therapy work is clinically supervised in accordance with the BABCP Code of Conduct.
